Anigif response to the subpoena of YouTube viewership records

Mad people have been fwd’ing articles about the subpoena of YouTube users’ viewing records today.

“Google will have to turn over every record of every video watched by YouTube users, including users’ names and IP addresses, to Viacom, which is suing Google for allowing clips of its copyright videos to appear on YouTube, a judge ruled Wednesday.” — Judge Orders YouTube to Give All User Histories to Viacom, Ryan Singel, Wired, 02 July 2008.

The EFF has already responded. According to their brief article, the ruling my violate the Video Privacy Protection Act.

Here is an anigif you can place on your homepage to express your displeasure:

GOOGLE VIACOM YOUTUBE STOP SNITCHING!

My apologies in advance to Hon. Louis L. Stanton for the omission. I could not locate a suitable photograph.
