Cory Arcangel and the E Street Band
Unsatisfied with the amount of glockenspiel on Born to Run, Cory Arcangel recorded his own glock parts. I just got the record in the mail and spent an hour trying to sync them up tonight. This is somewhere between trying to play Zep records in reverse on a belt drive turntable and the Pink Floyd / Wizard of Oz event some kids at my college held in the student center. (No one at my college took psychedelic drugs so it was a weird vibe.)
I made an mp3 of She’s the One below. You can hear me messing with the pitch a little trying to keep it on track. I blame my setup before the recording but I found the best match with Cory’s record at +0.5%.
In preparation for the Todo Mundo Internet Radio Show to appear in January ‘07, I am experimenting with some mp3 / netcasting softwares. Let me know how this works out for you.
