Deep slanguage: the Watt from Pedro show
Mike Watt (most famously of the Minutemen, America’s greatest rock outfit) has had an internet radio show for nigh on five years running. My roommate and I had a blast listening to his most recent three-hour show. Mega slanguage happening on these broadcasts. Put this on your liberated ipod or whatever as soon as you can: the Watt from Pedro show.
These days I almost expect my heroes to be mired in their own nostalgia. It’s encouraging to see that Watt is still on the grind searching for quality jams regardless of genre or era. Bitchin’.
